Yashodhara Rana

Associate Director, Research

Yashodhara Rana serves as the Associate Director for Research at the Eleanor Crook Foundation. In this role, Yasho will develop and oversee ECF’s multi-million-dollar portfolio of global malnutrition grants and provide thought leadership both to the ECF team and its community of partners. Prior to ECF, Yashodhara was an Associate Director at Results for Development (R4D) overseeing the nutrition team's data and learning practice. During her time at R4D, Yasho led DataDENT, a five-year initiative aimed at strengthening the nutrition data value chain, evidence review to inform the African Development Bank’s nutrition strategy and costing and financing analyses. Yasho holds a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School and a BA (Honors) in Government from Dartmouth College. A native of Nepal, she has conducted policy and program research in India, Nigeria, Timor Leste and Australia.
