Dr. Jack Clift serves as the Senior Director of Policy and Research of the Eleanor Crook Foundation. Jack has worked in evidence-based policy and action-oriented research for more than 15 years, working across the public, private and non-profit sectors. In his role, Jack is responsible for developing and executing ECF’s Policy Agenda, overseeing and managing the Research & Policy grants portfolio, and managing the expert Research & Policy team. Prior to joining ECF, Jack worked as a Program Director at the Results for Development Institute (R4D), leading policy and research work on strategy, sustainable financing, and market-shaping for global nutrition and health. Earlier in his career, Jack worked on pharmaceutical sector strategy at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a top-tier strategy consulting organization, and worked across a range of public policy areas at the RAND Corporation, a leading global policy research institution. Jack holds a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School, a Masters in Public Policy from UCLA, and an undergraduate degree in Literae Humaniores from the University of Oxford. In a personal capacity, Jack also serves as the Chair of the Technical Advisory Panel for the Power of Nutrition, an innovative financing and partnership platform to tackle global malnutrition.
