Chytanya Kompala

Senior Research Program Officer

Chytanya Kompala serves as the Senior Program Officer for Research at the Eleanor Crook Foundation. In this role, Chytanya works with colleagues to manage ECF's technical and research grants and guide strategic grantmaking to support the scale-up of high impact nutrition programs. As a global health nutritionist, Chytanya works with ECF grantees to implement rigorous research studies on various nutrition innovations. Chytanya also serves as the founder and co-lead of the Nutrition Scaling Working Group. Before joining ECF in 2017, Chytanya worked as a nutrition researcher at PATH and Sight & Life, with experience living and working in East and West Africa. She holds a Master of Science in Public Health degree in Human Nutrition from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from New York University.
